William J. “Bill” Mahn

MAHN: William J. “Bill” Mahn, 84 of Niantic and formerly of Waterford, entered eternal life on Jan. 9, 2023. He was born July 21, 1938 in Stamford, Ct the son of the late Emile and Irene (Hotkoski) Mahn. He married the former Joann Vescovi, on July 19, 1958, in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, Mrs. Mahn survives him. Bill worked as a supervisor for Electric Boat, retiring after 35 years. He was the former president of the Waterford Jaycees Civic Club and a member of the Young Republicans. Besides his beloved wife Joann of nearly 65 years, he is survived by three children. William E. and Cynthia Mahn of Uncasville, Christopher Mahn and partner Jason Pellitier of Groton, Cheryl (Doel) Zollars of OH, seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on Jan. 29, 2023 at 2 pm in Langley’s Restaurant at Great Neck Country Club, 28 Lamphere Rd. Waterford. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London, has been entrusted with his care.
