Wendy Louise Strong, 66, of Mystic, peacefully passed away Oct. 3, 2021, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New London, daughter of the late Luther Wilson and Gilda (Tellevi) Wilson.

She was the loving wife of Billy Strong; and devoted mother of Anthony Hall and his wife Sandra Hall of Groton, Gregory Hall of Mystic and his partner Nicci Hicks of New London, Billy Charles Strong and his fiancée Cathiana Laurent of Gales Ferry. Jonathan Carver of Groton held a special place in her heart and was loved as her own.

She was predeceased by her parents; and her beloved brother Michael Wilson. She is survived by her brothers, Peter Wilson, Steven Wilson and his wife Peggy Wilson, Scott Wilson Sr. and his wife Becky Wilson.

She is also survived by her grandsons, Anthony Hall, Gregory Hall, Carter Strong, Noah Strong; granddaughter Lauryn Hall, sweet Baby Girl Strong (expected soon); and great-grandson, Avari Hall.

Her nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as her God children will forever remember their Aunt Wendy with much love in their hearts.

Wendy was an extraordinary person who lived her whole life for her family and friends. She loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild who were completely devoted and adored her in return. She was a friend to everyone that she met but treasured her dear friends, Liz Hunter and Edith Perez, the sisters of her heart. Memories of her kindness, humor, loving spirit and one-of-a-kind amazing laugh will be cherished always.

There will be a celebration of her life planned in upcoming months.
