Vera Jean Bellone

BELLONE: Vera Jean Bellone, 80 of New London, entered eternal life on June 10, 2022. She was born Jan. 5, 1942 in New London the daughter of the late Joseph and Helen (Lasky) Paul. Vera was a life long resident of New London, attending local schools and graduating from New London High School. She was united in marriage to Dominic “Nick” Bellone on Sept. 24, 1966 in St. Joseph Church. Her beloved Nick died July 10, 2008. Mrs. Bellone worked as a judicial clerk at the New London Court House for the State of CT. She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph Parish. She is survived by nine siblings, Edward Paul, Frederick Paul, Gary Paul, Alice Stacey, Betty Jean Watterson, Barbara Kronk, Catherine Scacciaferro, Doris Fonner and Linda Lemanski, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine siblings, Joseph, John, Frank, Charles, William, James, Richard, Josephine Paul and Eleanor Pryski. A private Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Joseph Church followed by entombment in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum. The Impellitteri-Malia funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., was entrusted with her care.
