MONTANARI: Vanessa Isabel Montanari, 59, of New London entered eternal life on Nov. 12, 2017 in the comfort of her loving family. She was born March 22, 1958 in New London the daughter of the late Joseph and Lillie (Bloomer) Yakesh. She attended local schools in New London, and has been a life long resident. She was, united in marriage to Joseph Montanari, on Dec. 29, 1979 in New London. Mr. Montanari survives her for nearly 38 years. In addition, she is survived by two children. Michael Montanari and Melissa Couture both of New London. Her brother, John Brennan, of New London. She was predeceased by two brothers, Donald Scott and Joseph Brennan. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday morning from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by a 1 pm service at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory to Multiple Sclerosis Society CT Chapter, 659 Tower Ave, First Floor, Hartford, CT 06112-1269.
