Sarah Sally Perkins Patch

November 10, 1939 - March 2, 2016

PERKINS: Sarah A. “Sally” Perkins, 76 died peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 after a brief illness. She was born in New London in 1939 the daughter of the late Horace and Anna (Harris) Patch. She is survived by a daughter, Susan T. Perkins and her wife Toon of Newport, RI. She is also survived by a brother, Wayne Patch of Clinton, CT and a cousin, Carol Peabody of East Lyme. Sarah work for many years at, Waterford Pharmacy and later in banking. She retired in 2001 from the former Fleet Bank. She was an avid gardener and loved to help others. She volunteered for many years at Child and Family of New London County. The family would like to extend their gratitude to her neighbor, Angie Provatas and to Sally’s great friend, Mable Hull for their many acts of kindness and generosity. As per her wishes, there will be no calling hours, and services will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider doing something kind for someone in honor of my mother, Sally.
