re·sil·ient- able to withstand or recover quickly from difficult conditions. Gina was a resilient woman. In a time when it was frowned upon for a woman to speak her mind, or "tell it like it is", Gina could look you in the eye and tell you what you maybe didn't want to hear. When difficulties surrounded her and John, she kept a smile on her face, never letting you know how things really were. They always bounced back. Gina always came back stronger. Gina's love for her family was indiscriminate, without judgement. She held people together from all sides with her ability to pick up the phone and call someone just when they needed it the most. Her love of life and people will be missed in this family, and by everyone that knew her. And her kind words will not be forgotten.
