Norma LaBoue

LABOUE: Norma LaBoue, 95 of Groton entered eternal life on Feb. 9, 2022. She was born Sept. 3, 1926 in Lowell, MA the daughter of the late Aroldo and Ermelinda (Lenzi) Secchiaroli. Moving to New London at an early age and she attended local schools. She was united in marriage, on Nov. 20, 1948 to Norman LaBoue in St. Joseph Church. After 58 years of devotion, Norman died Dec. 24, 2006. She is survived by three children: Henry LaBoue of Groton, Mary Campagna of Mystic, and Laure Martinez of Groton. Two siblings: Amanda Stickley of Groton and Anna Hobin of New London. Five grandchildren: Frank, Jesse, Alfonso, Jesse, Anthony and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son: Richard LaBoue and four siblings, Albert, George and Henry Secchiaroli, and Hilda Bonanno. A graveside service will be held in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum at 1 pm on Friday Feb. 18, 2022. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
