YANNACCI: Michelle L. Yannacci, 65 of Waterford entered eternal life on Oct. 27, 2017 in the comfort of her loving family. She was born May 26, 1952 in Southbridge, MA the daughter of the late Florent and Theresa (Goulet) Paquin. She was, united in marriage to John Yannacci, Sr. on June 26, 1971 in Sacred Heart Church in Southbridge, MA, John survives her. Michele was a devote Roman Catholic and a communicant of St. Joseph Parish in New London. She was director of Religious Education of Adults, Lector, and Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Church and served as coordinator for multiple ministries. In addition Michelle was, commissioned by the Norwich Diocesan as a Lay Minister. She served as Hospice Chaplain for Hospice of Southeastern CT, Pastoral Associate Chaplain at Lawrence & Memorial Hospital. She owned and operated, Helping Hands Home Cleaning Service. Michelle loved her family above all else and, Michelle wasn’t picky. If she knew you, you were family. Nothing made her happier than hosting holiday dinners for the entire family. Her devotion to God was evident in her involvement in numerous Catholic Church ministries including bible studies, Pre-Cana and RCIA. In her youth, she was an accomplished equestrian and competed annually at the Woodstock Fair. During Michelle’s long illness, one thing that raised her spirits is when her grandchildren came to visit. It renewed her zest for life. Besides her beloved husband John of 46 years, she is survived by two sons. John and Kate Yannacci, Jr. of NH and Vincent Yannacci of Waterford. Her two grandchildren, Nadia and Viggo Yannacci, numerous nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Jean Paquin of Southbridge, MA and Gerald Paquin of Brooklyn, CT. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London. The funeral will assemble on Tuesday at 10 am and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Joseph Church. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery.
