Mary K. Smith of Groton CT passed away on 2/25/2021. She was born on May 31, 1924, the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Kelley. She was a graduate of the former, Williams Memorial Institute and a communicate of Sacred Heart Church in Groton. Mary was married on July 28, 1944 to Russell C. Smith. Mr. Smith passed away on October 10, 1977.

She is survived by one son Thomas S. Smith and his wife Irene. One brother Charles S. Kelley and his wife Josephine. Five Grandsons, twelve Great Grandchildren, and three Great-Great Grandchildren, and a Daughter-in-law Margaret Smith of Meriden.

She was predeceased by her son Donald L. Smith, three sisters Catherine Storey, Agnes Grippo, and Josephine Douchette.

She is survived by three Step Grandchildren. Dotty, David and his wife Beth and Thommy and his wife Julie, and Six Step Great Grandchildren.

There are no calling hours. A Catholic funeral mass will be held Saturday 27 February, 2021 at 11:00 at Sacred Heart Church in Groton. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
