GRIFFIN: Mark A. Griffin, 58 of New London entered eternal life on Nov. 12, 2017. He was born Dec. 22, 1958 in Bridgeport the son of Helen Griffin-Frissora of Ansonia and the late John Griffin, Sr. He was united in marriage to the former Catherine Pettengill on May 12, 1990 in Sacred Heart Church in Groton, Cathy survives him. Mark was employed as pipe fitter, working at Electric Boat in Groton. Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Justin Griffin of New London. Three siblings, Jill Hoyle, John Griffin, Jr. and Scott Griffin. He was predeceased by a brother, Kevin Griffin. His family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London. Family and friends are to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 9 am in St. Joseph Church, New London. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery will be private.
