MCGRATH: Linda Susan McGrath, 72 of Waterford, entered eternal life on May 1, 2022. She was born Jan. 6, 1950 in new London the daughter of the late Joseph and Katie (LaSalla) Locantore. Linda graduated from St. Bernard High School, later attending Mitchell College and graduating with an Associate degree. She was employed at Waller, Palmer & Smith Attorney’s and later worked at Carbone Siding & Windows. Linda loved to sing at family gathering and weddings. She would always call her nieces and nephews to sing Happy Birthday, and sang at the Elks Minstrel shows. She is survived by a sister Lucy Soper, of Lakeville, CT, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Hycintha Kondratowicz. Linda loved her special care she received from Dr. Slater and staff. Donations in her memory to American Cancer Society. A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 11 am at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in New London. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
