INGRAM: Kathleen M. Ingram, 73 of Waterford entered eternal life on May 1, 2017 in the comfort of her loving family. She was born Nov. 26, 1943 in New London, the daughter of the late William and Loretta (Tinker) Menzie. Kathleen was resided in Mystic during her childhood, attended local schools, and graduated from Fitch Senior High School, class of 1962. She was united in marriage, to Raymond F. Ingram, Sr. on Dec. 7, 1963 in Mystic, her beloved husband Ray of 53 years survives her. She was an avid bowler at Groton Ten Pin, and bowled in summer and winters leagues for years. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life, spending countless hours with them and attending all their activities. Besides her husband she is survived by two children, Raymond Ingram, Jr. of Waterford, and Jacqueline Ingram-Noniewicz and husband Paul Noniewicz of Lyme, two grandchildren, Raymond Ingram, III and Lindsey Noniewicz, and a sister, Frances M. and husband Leo Wright, Capt. USN Ret. of East Lyme. She was predeceased by her brother, William C. Menzie. The family would like to express their appreciation to the loving care provided by the nurses, administrators, and the doctors of the L+M Cancer Center during Kathy’s two plus year battle and to the nurses and aids from the Center for Hospice Care Southeastern CT who helped Kathy and the rest of us through the latter part of her journey. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. A funeral home service will take place on Monday at 10 am, followed by internment in Jordan Cemetery, Waterford. Donations in her memory, to the donor’s choice of charity.
