Waterford – Jacqueline Elaine Carboni, 85, of Waterford, entered eternal life on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017, in the comfort of her loving family.

She was born April 21, 1932, in New London, the daughter of the late Santo and Norma (Brustolon) Ballestrini. She attended St. Joseph School in New London and graduated from the former Williams Memorial Institute. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo “Snitch” Carboni who passed away on June 19, 1987.

She is survived by her two children and there spouses, John and Maria Carboni of East Lyme and Julie Lelievre and her partner, John Curry, of Groton; a brother, William Ballestrini and his wife, Dorothy, of Gales Ferry. Six grandchildren, Timothy, Adam, Tercelia, Samantha, Carlina and Selena; and five great-grandchildren, Zoe, Autumn, Liam, Killian, and Kane.

The family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at Greentree Manor in Waterford.

Family and friends are to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Agnes Church, 22 Haigh Ave., Niantic. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery will be private.
