Hernan N. Valencia

February 10, 1956 - September 14, 2022

VALENCIA: Hernan N. Valencia, 66 of New London entered eternal life on Sept. 14, 2022 at his home. He was born Feb. 10, 1956 in Lima, Peru the son of Marcia and Justina (Vera) Valencia. He came to the United States, and eventually settling in New London. Mr. Valancia worked at the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital for many years, retiring this past June, and was currently working part time at the US Sub Base in Groton. He was the beloved husband of Yomary (Breton) Valencia who survives him. Four children; Hernan Valencia, Jr., Denisse Olivo, Stephanie and Naysha Valencia. Four siblings; Guillermo Valencia, Magda Matias, Luis Valencia and Lourdes Bobadilla. Four grandchildren; Xavier, Andrew, Bryan and Nathan. His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London. Family and friends may gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10 am in St. Mary Star of the Sea Church, 10 Huntington St., New London. Interment in St. Mary Cemetery
