Gladys Marie Thomas, 80, of Waterford entered eternal life Sept. 10, 2021. She was born April 13, 1941, in New London the daughter of the late Edward and Mildred (Daniels) Steadman. She was united in marriage to Ernest Thomas Nov. 20, 1962, in Maine, Mr. Thomas died Jan. 1, 2011.

Gladys was a Bingo enthusiast, volunteered her time at the Waterford Senior Center and New London Rehab, and enjoyed bowling.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Cindy Cabral of Waterford; and granddaughter, Ashley Cabral. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sheila Thomas; her three brothers, Ronald and Pete Steadman and Richard Steadman Sr.

All funeral services are private with interment in Maine. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., has been entrusted with her care
