Allen Biddford, 72 of Uncasville entered eternal life on Sept. 2, 2018. He was born on Sept. 18, 1945 the son of the late Edith Clark. He was raised by his late grandmother, Evelyn Young. He attended local schools and graduated from Waterford High School. He enlisted in the US Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He married the love of his life, the former Patricia DiMarco on Nov. 11, 1972 in Groton, Mrs. Biddford survives him. Allen was a fire fighter with the New London Fire Dept., retiring after 38 years of service in 2008. Besides his wife of 46 years, he is survived by two children, and there spouses. Todd and Carolyn Biddford of Uncasville, Carla and Zivin King of WA. Two grandchildren, Jordan (Cameron ) Salley and Kailan King and a great granddaughter Kennedy Salley. He was predeceased by two sisters, Betty Biddford and Alisha Clark. His family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London. The funeral will assemble on Thursday at 10 am and proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Joseph Church. Interment to follow with military honors in St. Mary Cemetery.
