LINSCOTT,III: Shepard “Shep” K. Linscott, III, 87 of Waterford entered eternal life on March 24, 2016. He was born March 24, 1929 in Atchison, KS the son of the late Shepard and Ayleen (Locker) Linscott, II. He attended local schools In KS and after high school, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was a Vietnam veteran serving 24 years, retiring at the rank of Chief. While serving his country, he attends colleges receiving his Maters Degree. He was united in marriage to the former Dorothy Zahaba in 1961 at Our Lady of Lords Church. Dot passed on April 25, 2013. After retiring from the US Navy, he worked at Electric Boat as a nuclear trainer. Later worked for Huston Light & Power, returning to Waterford in 1987. Mr. Linscott, III also taught school at Waterford High School and Three Rivers Community College. He is survived by his daughter, Donna Kramer and husband Robert of Norwich. Relatives and friends are asked to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday a 9:30 am in St. Joseph Church, 17 Squire St. New London. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Norwich with military honors. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. has been entrusted with arrangements.
