Samuel L. Murallo, of Jewett City and formerly Waterford died on April 18, 2017 at his home.

He was born on November 19, 1965, in New London, the son of the Emillo Murallo Sr. of Uncasville and the late Dolores (Costa) Murallo.

Samuel was formerly employed as a mechanic at Murallo’s Auto Sales. He enjoyed racing cars, fishing and playing pool and being with his family.

In addition to his father he is survived by his sons Samuel Jr. and E’manuel, and his partner Carrie LaFlamme, all of Jewett City; his brother Emillo Jr. of Griswold, and his children Ryan, Emilia, and Jake, his brother Joseph, and his wife Heather, of Waterford, and their children Chelsea and Zack; his sister Cecelia Sanchez and her husband Jose of Groton; his half sister Carla Thorton of Arizona, and her children Faith, Olivia, and Joe; his Godmother Josephine DaCosta of New London; Aunts Mary, Christine, Arlene, Pentine, Jackie, Mary, Stella, and Fina; Uncles Rufino, Sammy and Dave; and Goddaughter Jojo DaCosta; and many cousins.

In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by uncles John Costa Sr. and Ralph Murallo.

Calling hours times have changed, they will be held on Wednesday April 26th from 4-7pm at Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, CT.
