Sally Mae Krajewski, 84, beloved wife of Edward for 58 years, passed away Friday, January 22nd at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Norwich on Nov 17th 1931, she was the daughter of Sophie and Michael Sadusky. She was predeceased by her sons Daniel and Matthew as well as her siblings Stephen, Joseph, and Claire.

She is survived by her two sisters Mary Ann Oliver and Agnes Johnson. In addition to her husband and sisters, she is also survived by her daughters Julianna and her husband David Meneely, Ann Marie Jansen and Mark Lineweber, Rosemary and her husband Edward Punzalan, Laura and her husband Michael Hughes, sons Michael, and William and fiancé Melissa Perry. Her grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. Known to them as “Babci”, Samantha and Michelle Punzalan, Melissa Wiggins, Erin Leighton, Catlyn Hughes, Ryan Pane, David Meneely, Haley Jade Krajewski, and several great grandchildren.

Sally and Edward were married on May 18th 1957 at St. Joseph’s Church in Norwich. She retired from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Quaker Hill as the rectory caretaker where she and her family were long time parishioners. She was a member of the Ladies Guild and served as their president and treasurer over the years. Sally was a big-hearted, kind, and generous person who touched the lives of all who met her. She loved all but held a special place in her heart for children. Her selflessness and caring knew no boundaries. Spies Bogem (Rest in God’s arms) my sweet Sally, Mom, Babci. You’ll be forever in our hearts.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8pm on Tuesday, January 26th at Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Avenue, New London CT. The funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 27th at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 63 Old Norwich Road, Quaker Hill CT. The burial will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to Vitas Hospice Care, 628 Hebron Ave, Suite 300, Glastonbury, CT 06033, or any charity near and dear to your heart. Love and thanks to all our special Angels at Vitas Hospice and Companions and Homemakers.
