Russell H. Hodge

October 3, 1941 - July 30, 2022

HODGE: Russell H. Hodge, 80 of Quaker Hill, entered eternal life on July 30, 2022. He was born on Oct. 3, 1941 in Grande case, St. Martin, F.W.I. the son of the late Cyril Hodge and Dorcas Rogers. Russell served in the French Army, was honorably discharged, then moved to CT in 1967 where he made his home. He worked for Amtrak for over 40 years, retiring in 2012. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Josette Hodge. He is survived by two sons, Ryan Hodge of NC and Rashad Hodge of Quaker Hill. He is also survived by eight siblings, Emile Hodge, Albert Rogers, Lucretia Hodge, Rachelle Hodge, Cynthia Hodge, Eulalie Hodge-Rhodes, Rose-Marie Josiah and Vicky Hodge, a sister in-law Sandra Richardson, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral and interment will be private. A celebration of life will be held at, 190 Bloomingdale Rd., Quaker Hill on Thursday Aug. 4, 2022 at 4 pm. A sincere thanks to Patrick and Carol Richardson who were always there for him. A special thanks to the 5.2 staff at L & M Hospital. He will be missed for a longtime to come. In his memory, please be kind, compassionate, and caring towards each other, and cherish everyday of life.
