Robert Lane passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2016.
Robert served his country for six years in the U.S. Army in Paris Island and was discharged on Feb. 12, 1985.
He married Tammy Fow on July 19, 2015, at Mystic Pendleton. She has been with him throughout his illness.
He also leaves behind his mother, Lois Lane of Middletown.
A memorial get-together for family and friends will be held later this summer
