GRUILL: Paula Gruill, 99 formerly of Waterford, entered eternal life on Dec. 16, 2016. She was born July 19, 1917 in Norwich the daughter of the late John and Mary (Brennan) Laskowsky. She attended local schools in Norwich and graduated from Norwich Free Academy. She was united in marriage to Francis Gruill on Oct. 1, 1960 in St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church; Mr. Gruill died Dec.14, 2013. They moved to Waterford and had resided here for many years. She was a long time member of St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church. Paula is survived by many dear friends, and resided at Crescent Point in Niantic. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 10 am in St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church, 248 Broadway Norwich. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Norwich. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London has been entrusted with her care.
