WRIGHT: Mary Elizabeth Wright, 89 of Waterford entered eternal life on Sept. 26, 2016. She was born Aug. 24, 1927 in Walton, Nova Scotia, the daughter of the late Percy and Inez (Smith) Sanford. She was united in marriage Walter Wright on Aug. 10, 1946 in Nova Scotia. They moved to Waterford in 1964, Mr. Wright died March 22, 2001. Mary worked as a dept. manager for the former W.T Grants, retiring after many years. She is survived by three sons, Charles Wright of Groton, Brain wright of Stonington, Richard Wright of West Plains, MO and Linda Rys of Uncasville. A sister, Madlyne Hennigar of Nova Scotia. Two sister in-laws, Vera and Georgie Sanford both of Nova Scotia. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Her family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 3pm to 5pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London followed by a funeral home service. Interment is private.
