BALLESTRINI: Louis James Ballestrini, 82 of Waterford entered eternal life on Oct. 27, 2023 in the company of his loving family. He was born Jan. 9, 1941 in New London the son of the late Vinton Ballestrini and Catherine (White) D’Angelo. After graduating from New London High School, he enlisted in the US Army, and was honorably discharged. Louis worked for many years a laborer for the Laborer’s Union at Millstone Power Plant. He enjoyed playing golf and was an accomplished artist. He is survived by two daughter: Shelly (Mark) Byington, Stacey (Ruben) Perez. Two grandchildren, Kacey and Zakari Byington and one great granddaughter. His siblings; Anthony D’Angelo, Lucy Schiavone, and Carole McCleer. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Dec. 8, 2023 at 10:30 am in St. Joseph Church, New London. Interment is private. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with his care.
