BONANNO: Lisa Ann Bonanno, 55 of Uncasville entered eternal life on Dec. 11, 2021. She was born Nov. 15, 1966 in New London the daughter of the late Sterling and Nancy (Pedro) Bonanno. She attended local schools and graduated from Waterford High School, class of 1984. Lisa was an accomplished hairdresser at the Gallery in New London with many loyal clients who became life long friends, and had an infectious personality that could light up a room. She will be remembered for her talents and wonderful witty sense of humor. Lisa loved animals and always has a house full, from dogs, cats, and rabbits they filled her house with joy and love. She loved to travel, especially cruises with Michele and John, they had many amazing adventures together. Lisa is survived by a sister, Sue Bonanno of Bozrah. Niece Danyelle and husband Dan Estey, Jr. and their children. A nephew Chris Bonanno of Waterford. Her best friend, Michele Tangway-Proctor and husband John. Dear friend Wanda Figueroa and many cousins. She leaves behind her three fury children, Daisy, Little Dude and Buttercup. She was predeceased by her brother Donald Bonanno. A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 17, 2021 at 1 pm in St. Mary Cemetery, 600 Jefferson Ave. New London. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London, has been entrusted with her care. A celebration of life will held at a later time and date.
