DEL PRIORE: Josephine M. DelPriore, 87 of Waterford entered eternal life on Feb. 6, 2018 in the comfort of her loving family. She was born Sept. 22, 1930 in New London the daughter of the late Samuel and Frances (Mariani) Turello. She attended local schools and graduated from the former Williams Memorial Institute. She was united in marriage to, Rocco DelPriore, Sr. on Nov. 18, 1950 in St. Joseph Church in New London. Mr. DelPriore died June 14, 2011. Josephine was a communicant of St. Paul Church, St. Paul’s Sewing Group, and a member of the Goshen Firehouse Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by two children, Gerard “Gerry” DelPriore of MA and Susan DelPriore of Waterford. She was predeceased by a son, Rocco DelPriore, Jr. in 1983, four siblings, Peter and Santos “Juny” Turello, Patricia Girotti and Nicoletta “Nikki” Howard. Relatives, and friends, are asked to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10 am in St. Paul Church, 190 Rope Ferry Rd. Waterford. Interment in Saint Mary Cemetery. There are no public calling hours. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London, has been entrusted with her care. Donations in her memory to St. Paul Church, 190 Rope Ferry Rd.
