Jane M. Kleczynski

KLECZYNSKI: Jane M. Kleczynski, of Quaker Hill, entered eternal life on July 13, 2018.  She was born Aug. 29, 1920, in New London the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Pianka) Pukas.  She attended local schools and graduated from the former Chapman Technical High School.  She met the love of her life, Raymond Kleczynski and married on Feb. 10, 1945, in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in New London. Raymond passed away on April 5, 2016.  Jane was a member of the Polish American Veteran’s Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Ladies Guild Club and a lifelong communicant of the church.  Jane and Raymond were both honored on their, 60th wedding anniversary, and presented an Apostolic Blessing from the late Pope John Paul II. She is survived by, many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by, six sisters; Alice Dymnicki, Pauline Smiarowski, Bertha Giza, Theresa Olsen, Helen Baier, and Josephine Zegarzewski.  Her family will receive relatives and friends on Monday morning (July 23) at 10 am in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 63 Old Norwich Rd. Quaker Hill, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am.  Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.  The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave, New London, has been entrusted with her care.
