JAUQUET: James P. Jauquet, 73 of Waterford entered eternal life on Dec. 6, 2015. He was born March 3, 1942 in Green Bay, WI the son of Alvina (Baeten) Jauquet of WI and the late Donald Jauquet. Mr. Jauquet attended local schools in WI and after graduating from high school he enlisted in US Navy, serving eight years before being honorably discharged. Mr. Jauquet was a police officer for the New London PD for many years and was currently employed at the Mohegan Casino as a gaming commissioner. James survived by his two children. Alicia Hardesty of New London and Michael Jauquet of TX. Four grandchildren, Nate, Glenn, Alex, Bella and several siblings. His family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 2 to 4 pm at the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London. A vigil service will be held during the visitation.
