LUSA: Grace Eleanor Lusa, 101, of Waterford, entered eternal life on April 2, 2022. She was born March 21, 1921 in New London the daughter of the late Achillo and Amelia (Sabilia) Scalia. Mrs. Lusa was a seamstress retiring from for the former Garfield Belt Co. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish and a member of the St. Jude Society. She is survived by, her two sons Thomas Lusa of VT, and Richard Lusa of Waterford. A nephew Frank Scalia, Jr., four grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. She was predeceased three brothers; Frank Scalia, Sr., Pat Scalia and Anthony Albino. Guest are to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 11 am in St. Joseph Church, New London. Entombment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London has been entrusted with her care.
