ROSE: Frank Paul Rose, 92of Waterford, entered eternal life on Dec. 23, 2020. He was born June 29, 1928 in New London the son of the late Frank and Gladys Rose. He attended local schools in New London and graduated from the former Chapman Tech. High School. He was united, in marriage to the former Janet Luzzi on Sept. 1, 1951 in St. Joseph Church, his beloved wife of 69 years survives him. Frank worked as a welder all his life, Electric Boat for the first 23 years, and later Millstone for 20 years. Traveling was Frank’s passion with his family, and went on vacation every chance he could. His family was his central focus in life and loved spending time and going out to dinner with them. Frank, was known for his sly smirk, and joking manner. In his younger days, he loved doing archery, playing golf, reading, boating, and staying active. Besides his wife Janet, he is survived by his three children, Rayna Rose, Erik Rose, and Todd Rose. He is survived by his beloved grandchildren, Taylor Rose and Cameron Caron. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, at 11:30 am in St. Mary Cemetery, 600 Jefferson Ave., New London. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with his care.
