POOLE: Frances Ann Poole, 83 of Hillcrest, Uncasville entered eternal life on Feb. 8, 2018. She was born June 30, 1934 in New London the daughter of the late Sal and Lillian (Scarpa) Mugavero. She was united in marriage, to John Poole on Dec. 8, 1979 in Niantic, Ct, John survives her. Frances was formerly, employed at Electric Boat as a clerk. In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by two children. Douglas Rathbun and fiancé Mary of MA ,and Leslie and Husband Marc Rifkin of West Hartford. Three siblings, Rocco and wife Susan Gentilella, Carmel Cleary both of Waterford, Connie Mugavero of CA. A granddaughter, Sophie Rifkin. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 11 am from the Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave. New London. Interment will follow in St. Mary cemetery.
