Donna Ellen Kohler, 71 of New London, entered eternal life on April 28, 2023. She was born Oct. 21, 1951 in New Haven, CT. Daughter of Jane (Hull) Thomson of West Haven, CT and the late Donald Thomson. Donna was united in marriage to Paul Kohler, on Aug. 27, 1988 in Madison, CT. Mrs. Kohler worked as a registered nurse at Yale New Haven Hospital and other healthcare facilities in the area for many years. She is survived by her beloved husband Paul and her six children: Christine Thomson of Guilford, Karl Kohler of Groton, Greg Kohler of New London, Josh Broc of Groton, Andrea Fang of Groton, and Melissa Valenzuela of New London. In addition to four sisters, Carol Thomson, Barbara Pellicano, Patricia Bellmore, Maureen Cavallaro and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her brother, Clifford Thomson.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The Impellitteri-Malia funeral Home in New London has been entrusted with her care.
