Donald A Rossi of Quaker Hill Connecticut passed away peacefully on October 26, 2016 at 87 years of age. He was born in New London CT on Oct 28, 1929 and graduated from Chapman Tech High School in 1947. He worked for General Dynamics Corporation as a Chief in marine engineering until his retirement in 1984. Don was a gifted athlete and scratch golfer. He played baseball for the Morgan Park League and for Electric Boat and was active in the Elks. He attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. His wife Rita and daughter Katheryn predeceased him. Don is survived by two children; Donald S and Sara J Rossi, seven grandchildren; Stacey Deros, Kacey Ayer, Nickolas Ayer, Anthony Rossi, Michelle Rossi, Annamarie Rossi & Olivia Rossi and four great grandchildren; Christopher Deros, Catherine O’Brian, Hailey O’Brian and Samuel Rossi.  Services will be for family members only and there will not be any calling hours.
