TUCKER: Cheryl “Bunny” K. Tucker, 77 of Waterford CT, entered eternal life on July 5, 2022. She was born March 15, 1945 in New London CT the daughter of the late Donald and Marion (McCarthy) Tucker. She graduated from St. Bernard’s Catholic Girls High School, and later received her Bachelor’s degree from Albertus Magnus College. Bunny went on to an exemplary career for the United States Marshall Service as an Asset, Forfeiture Management Specialist, retiring after 37 distinguished years. She was a devout Roman Catholic and a communicant of St. Joseph Parish in New London as well a member of the Daughters of Isabella Society. She is survived by a brother, Thomas Tucker and wife Kim Royster of FL, nieces Pearl and Taylor, nephews Cody and Dillon, several cousins, god-daughter and caretaker MicheleTanguay-Proctor, and many special loved ones that she considered Family. She was predeceased by beloved Aunt Margaret “Peg” Angus. Family and friends are to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 11 am in St. Joseph Church, Montauk Ave. New London. Interment to follow in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Waterford Youth & Family Services, 24 Rope Ferry Rd. Waterford, CT 06385. The Impellitteri-Malia Funeral Home, 84 Montauk Ave., New London, has been entrusted with her care.
