Obituaries

She was born March 8, 1925, in New London, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Scarpa) Roggero. She was united in marriage to James Maynard July 27, 1946, in St Joseph Church. Mr. Maynard died March 11, 2009.

Ann worked for General Dynamics Electric Boat for 26 years, retiring in 1994. She was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. Ann loved spending time with her family, including ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her four daughters and their spouses, Anne and Bob Bendiske, Jane and Zig Czepizak, Cathy and Ben Berte and Brenda and Michael Cocci.

She was predeceased by siblings, Joseph Roggero, Raffaele Roggero, John Roggero, her twin Nellie Balosie, and Jeannette Calamari.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
